“So a little about T
Born and raised in Morristown New Jersey.
Attended/Graduated Morristown High School 1981, during which I played Field Hockey 4 Seasons, Ran Track (Distance) 2 Seasons, Softball 1 Season, Lacrosse 1 Season, Summer Swim League 3 Seasons….But my favorite…Fencing-3 Seasons became a lifetime since November 1978!!!

Ran Cross Country for County College of Morris, Randolph NJ, but there was no Sports Medicine Major/ Minor, so off to the United States Army I went! August 1982-1997-Airborne/Air Assault/Waterborne Advanced Medic and X-ray Tech and Master Fitness Trainer. Fenced recreationally throughout my career, but I wanted more!

Back to College at first Fayetteville Tech Community College NC and off to University of North Carolina for Exercise and Sport Science, with the Emphasis in Adaptive Sports Physiology, with the Specific emphasis in Fencing!! It was here I started teaching fencing to Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in 2000, but also those with Dual Diagnosis of Physical and Intellectual Disabilities, that led to my attending USA Fencing Coaches College in 2007, gaining My Certification as a Foil/Epee Wheelchair Coach!
Moved to San Antonio Texas in 2012 and was recruited to Teach 2 students with Dual Diagnosis! To my surprise, an Air Force Special Operator at the same time was recruiting me to compete in USA Wheelchair Fencing! I accepted his challenge!

So here I am today, 13 years later, still competing in USA Parafencing and World Ability Sport Parafencing, Move United Warfighter Ambassador , Founder of American Adaptive Fencing Alliance, which encompasses 5 Categories of Adaptive Fencing:
