Please mark your calendars for our Wichita Wildfire Adult (D3) Basketball Tournament on 2/28/2026. We are looking forward to hosting teams from Tulsa, OKC, and KC, as well as getting to play in front of our home crowd!!

I’m so excited to announce that Just A Kid Like Me camp is back — and it’s FREE! 💙
This inclusive camp is designed for kids with additional needs, creating a space where every child can feel celebrated, supported, and simply be just a kid.

One thing that is so special about this camp is that I also educate my typical peers on how to work side-by-side with these incredible kids!!

Our monthly adult social gathering was held at Sickies Garage. We had great company, the food was delicious and the building is very ADA accessible.

Anyone who is 18+ who has a physical disability is welcome to bring a plus one on first Wednesday of each month for food and brews. Please follow this page and our website to check out all of our upcoming events, and hopefully join us next month!

🏀 Exciting News for Our Adult Wheelchair Basketball Team! 🏀

We are thrilled to share that our program has recently purchased two new basketball chairs, helping us continue to grow and strengthen our team! Even more exciting, these chairs welcomed two incredible new players who are already making a big impact.

Please join us in welcoming Autumn Green, the current Ms. Wheelchair Kansas, and Mark Pellock, a former Kansas University basketball player from the 1980s, to our organization. We are so grateful to have both of them as part of our team and look forward to everything they will bring on and off the court.

We would also like to give a warm welcome to Ari Hutchinson and Sean Castor. We’re excited to have them on the team and can’t wait to see them grow with us on the court!

A huge thank you to the Independent Living Resource Center (ILRC) for their continued support and contributions that make opportunities like this possible. We truly could not do this without you! 💙
