In honor of Volunteer Week, our team had the privilege of giving back in a meaningful way to the Wichita community.

Our Business Office Manager, Maintenance Director, Dining Services Director, Transportation Driver, and Executive Director partnered with Senior Services, Inc. of Wichita to deliver Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors. It was truly an honor to connect with and support individuals who rely on these services each day—reminding us how impactful even small acts of service can be.

Our Sales department also hosted a networking food drive event, where our incredible community partners showed up in a big way—donating personal hygiene items and food for His Helping Hands. The generosity and support were overwhelming, and we are so grateful for each and every contribution.

Days like today are a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose.

Day 5 of Hospitality Week has come to a close, and what an incredible week it has been! As we wrap things up, we’re reflecting on the Four Grace Standard and all the meaningful moments we’ve shared together.

Today was Purple Pride Day, and it was amazing to see everyone united, showing their spirit and support by wearing purple. Throughout the week, associates participated in activities and Spirit Week fun, earning raffle entries for a chance to win one of five raffle baskets. A big thank you to our partners for putting together a wonderful basket for today’s raffle! We’re also so grateful to Amer Rashid from Home Instead for the delicious cupcakes that were enjoyed by all of our associates. And a special thank you to our Dining Services Director Nathan for catering an amazing taco bar for lunch, it was such a fun time gathering together, sharing a meal, and wrapping up with our raffle drawings.
We also took time to reflect on our purple paper chain activity from yesterday, a beautiful reminder of connection and teamwork. This week has truly been a blast, and while it’s a little sad to see it come to an end, the spirit of hospitality doesn’t have to be just once a year. It’s the little things we do every day that make it so meaningful.

Day 4 of Hospitality Week filled my heart in the best way 💜

Today’s theme, The Heart of Professional Pride, was a beautiful reminder that when we truly care about something, we take pride in it. Just like a home is cared for with intention, we carry that same intention within ourselves and in the way we serve others every single day. Our vision of setting tomorrow’s standard today really came to life through the grace service standard: projecting a positive, professional image.

One of my favorite moments was our “Paper Chain of Pride.” Associates shared how they create belonging, and each thoughtful response will be showcased at tomorrow’s all-associate lunch. Seeing those reflections come together was powerful, it’s clear how much heart and purpose lives within this team.

A special thank you to Rick Rock from Brookdale Senior Living for providing healthy snacks and refreshing juice for everyone. It meant so much to be able to enjoy that time while also loving on Girly and Gabby. What a sweet and memorable part of the day.

And of course, it was also Day 4 of Spirit Week: Dynamic Duo Thursday! The creativity, the costumes, the laughter, and the incredible engagement between Residents and Associates made today so special. The energy was contagious and truly uplifting.

This week has been such a joy, and honestly… I don’t want it to end. Grateful for every moment, every smile, and every person who makes this community so meaningful 💫

Day 3 of Hospitality Week was an absolute blast! 💙

Today’s theme, “The Heart of Listening,” really came to life as we focused on our Grace Standard: actively listening and engaging with residents and associates. We spent time building real, meaningful connections through our Associate & Resident Connection Activity. It was centered on learning, listening, and truly engaging with one another.

A huge thank you to Jessica with Home Health of Kansas, LLC for sponsoring snacks, drinks, and leading such fun and impactful role-playing activities today, we appreciate you so much!

And to top it all off… it was Wacky Wednesday for Spirit Week! 🤪🎉 Definitely the best day yet. Seeing everyone show up, participate, and just have FUN at work was incredible. The creativity and uniqueness were unmatched!

I’d absolutely encourage a Wacky Wednesday once a month if it keeps bringing this level of energy, connection, and joy to the workplace.

Today was a great reminder of how powerful it is when we come together, listen with intention, and have a little fun along the way. 💫

Today was Day 2 of Hospitality Week, and what a wonderful day it was!

Today’s theme, The Heart of Welcome, truly came to life as we focused on our Grace Standard: “Greet and welcome everyone with a smile.” And what better way to celebrate that than with a good ole SMILE booth! 😊

A very special thank you to English from Angels Care Hospice for putting together such a fun booth, adding all the props, and capturing allllll the smiles throughout the day. Your effort made today extra memorable!

It was also Day 2 of Spirit Week: Team Color Tuesday! Seeing everyone represent their departments with pride, unity, and teamwork was amazing.

Today was filled with so much joy and laughter. Stay tuned… Whacky Wednesday is coming up tomorrow! 🎉

We kicked off our Annual Hospitality Week with a bang today, and what an amazing start it was! 💛
A huge thank you to Heather from Angels Care Home Health for treating our associates and residents to delicious, fruity ice-cold popsicles, it was the perfect refreshing surprise and brought so many smiles all around!

Today’s Grace Standard was “Have compassion and respect for all,” and we truly brought that to life with our heartfelt activity, “A Piece of My Heart.” Associates shared beautiful sentiments by finishing the sentence “This home is filled with…” and the love, kindness, and connection in those responses were simply inspiring.

We also celebrated Memory Lane Monday for Spirit Week, with associates dressing up in their favorite decades. From groovy vibes to retro classics, it was such a fun and lively way to honor the past while enjoying the present together!
What a wonderful day full of laughter, gratitude, and togetherness. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring!!!

Bouquets & Mimosas with our Executive Director Samantha was an absolute hit!

Our residents had such a wonderful time sipping on refreshing mimosas while getting creative and crafting their own beautiful bouquets. The room was filled with laughter, vibrant flowers, and so much joy.
Everyone loved being able to take home their gorgeous arrangements a perfect reminder of a fun and relaxing day spent together.
