Today we celebrate Won’t You Be My Neighbor Day our Dining Service Department made fresh cookies and our Executive Director made love notes to attach “Life is sweeter with neighbors like you”, a reminder of just how powerful kindness and community can be.

Having neighbors who genuinely care makes all the difference. It’s the small things checking in, lending a hand, sharing a smile that turn a neighborhood into a true community.

Today is a beautiful reflection of that spirit. It shows that we don’t just live near each other and we look out for one another. Whether it’s helping someone in need, offering support, or simply being present, these moments matter more than we often realize. that.

Spring is here and the birds are finally coming back! 🐦

To celebrate, we spent some time creating the cutest little bird feeders and hanging them all around the community. It’s amazing to see how a simple art project can bring so much joy, not just to us, but to the birds too!

There’s something really special about creating artwork together. The laughter, the creativity, and the feeling of making something meaningful for our environment makes it such a fun experience for everyone involved.

Keep an eye out around the community… you might spot one of our colorful bird feeders!

Yesterday was truly empowering as we gathered to celebrate International Women’s Day and hear from incredible trailblazers right here in Wichita.

Thank you to the amazing women who shared their powerful life stories and reminded us what strength, resilience, and determination look like. From cycling across Kansas to taking the leap and becoming their own boss, each story was unique, inspiring, and a reminder that perseverance can carry us through even the most difficult seasons.

A special thank you to our very own Chris, a remarkable woman in our community, who shared her beautiful and heartfelt journey with us. Your story touched so many and made the day even more meaningful.
