What’s different about my classes?

We don’t rush the ending.
The movement is intentional
but it’s not the main event.

It prepares your body…
opens things up…
creates space.

And then we use that space.
At the end of class, we take a full 10 minute savasana
and if there’s room, you’re always welcome to stay longer.

No rush.
No pressure to pop back up.
No immediate return to the noise.

Just time to let your body integrate
and to sit with yourself for a moment.

I’ll be honest…
that part can feel a little uncomfortable at first.

Most of us aren’t used to being still long enough
to actually notice what’s going on underneath everything.

But that’s where the shift happens.

Not in how hard you push
but in how willing you are to stay.

Somewhere between holding it all together… and sitting on the stairs questioning everything 😅

still need space to fall apart, reset, and breathe.

Because pouring into others shouldn’t come from empty.
It comes from overflow.

pause before the next email, the next client, the next “I’m fine.”

Can’t touch the ground in a forward fold?

Bend. Thy. Knees. 🤍

But here’s the part most people miss…
It’s not just about bending your knees. It’s about how you get there

Think more like a squat or a Deadlift
Feet about hip-distance apart
Start by hinging at your hips first

Then bring your hands to the ground or blocks
From there, slowly begin to lengthen your legs until you find that edge… or somewhere in between

That’s where the stretch shifts
Right into the backs of the hamstrings

Less strain. More space. More control
Yummy 😌

I didn’t come up with this, but it’s something I come back to in my classes again and again because you can feel the difference immediately

Sound tools hold vibration, and just like us, they benefit from being cleared, reset, and cared for.
