✨ Transformation Thursday ✨

This patient underwent bilateral upper eyelid ptosis repair (droopy eyelid correction) to restore proper eyelid position, improve vision, and enhance overall eye symmetry.

📸 Photos taken: 4 weeks post-op
⏱️ Average recovery: About 1 week

Ptosis repair is a specialized eyelid surgery performed to correct weakened or stretched eyelid muscles that cause drooping. This procedure not only restores a more alert, balanced appearance but also helps improve visual function when the eyelids obstruct the upper field of vision.

Today marks Dr. Burgoyne’s final day performing cataract surgery — a truly special milestone in her incredible career. 💙 While many have asked if this means she’s retiring — she’s not! Dr. Burgoyne will now be focusing exclusively on oculoplastic surgery due to the growing demand in this specialty.

We’re so grateful for the years of dedication, precision, and compassion she’s brought to cataract surgery, and we can’t wait to see her continue transforming lives through her oculoplastic expertise! 👁️✨
