At Lakepoint, our purpose is to improve lives and exceed expectations! Our nurse, Chris, has done exactly that and we couldn’t be more proud!
We have a very loving resident who spent her career as a hairdresser. Styling hair isn’t just something she did—it’s part of who she is. She’s often reaching for staff ponytails, wanting to do what she loves most.
Chris saw beyond the behavior and recognized the meaning behind it. Over the past week, she went above and beyond—calling multiple beauty schools in search of a styling head for our resident. Thanks to her persistence, Crave Beauty Academy Wichita Campus generously donated a brand new styling head, and Chris even purchased styling supplies herself to make the experience complete.
The result? Pure joy. Our resident is absolutely LOVING it, and it’s given her a renewed sense of purpose and connection.
