🐸Eric from Good Shepherd Hospice Wichita/Newton/Wellington/Salina blessed our ears with his wonderful guitar playing,

🦮A furry visitor from __Hospice named Lindor wagged her way into our hearts,

🐇Another furry visitor from Rivercross Hospice hopped all the way here to bring laughter and good spirits to the residents and staff,

🍬and lastly, Match was rounded off nicely for our residents with bingo hosted by John of Faith Home Health & Hospice!💚

At Lakepoint, our purpose is to improve lives and exceed expectations! Our nurse, Chris, has done exactly that and we couldn’t be more proud!

We have a very loving resident who spent her career as a hairdresser. Styling hair isn’t just something she did—it’s part of who she is. She’s often reaching for staff ponytails, wanting to do what she loves most.

Chris saw beyond the behavior and recognized the meaning behind it. Over the past week, she went above and beyond—calling multiple beauty schools in search of a styling head for our resident. Thanks to her persistence, Crave Beauty Academy Wichita Campus generously donated a brand new styling head, and Chris even purchased styling supplies herself to make the experience complete.

The result? Pure joy. Our resident is absolutely LOVING it, and it’s given her a renewed sense of purpose and connection.

Chris, thank you for your compassion, creativity, and dedication to improving lives. You are the heart of Lakepoint, and we are so proud to have you on our team. 🌟

After months of challenges, unexpected setbacks, and a flood that turned everything upside down, we are so proud to finally open our newly remodeled staff break room at LakePoint. 💙

This space is more than just a break room, it’s a small token of our appreciation for the incredible dedication, resilience, and heart our staff has shown through it all. You continued to show up, care for our residents, and support each other every single day, even when things weren’t easy.

LakePoint is beyond grateful for each and every one of you. We hope this refreshed space gives you a place to relax, recharge, and know just how valued you truly are.
