To be honest sometimes I feel like I hide and don't get out in community. But l👀k two nights in a row out and about!!!
For the past several months I have been working on getting back out.  Trying different things and even if a show starts later than I like going to it. I show up and notice how I feel. If at a certain point there is a hard stop "no, I'm done" I listen and leave or switch up what I'm doing.
What do you like to do in community? I'm always interested in trying new things!

What does it mean to feel in a myofascial session?
What does sensation feel like to you in your bodywork sessions and in general? Oftentimes we might notice the more obvious sensations typically when they are intense and/or offer discomfort. This is great we feel something! But what about the opposite end? I like question the softer side of things. When we are given space and time to allow to the body let go on it's own what subtle sensations might you notice now? Oftentimes there is magic in the subtleties of the body. Oftentimes these subtleties hold keys to help us let go more.

Being aware can apply to all aspects of life! During a bodywork session, as your practioner I often will check in with you to learn what you are sensing and experiencing. Being aware during your session and learning more about what is stored in your body and even where you hold different types of stress and tension is oftentimes an exploration I have with clients. As you become more aware of sensation, feeling, thought, emotion in your body you then have the opportunity to create change you want to feel and experience!

Private sessions offer you the opportunity to work on exactly what is happening for you. Many of my clients experience some type of pain or discomfort. I also work with people who are wanting to deepen their mind-body connection. Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy are gentle therapies that help you soften and create more space in your body.
Sometimes I like to describe these sessions as
•feeling into the softness of your body
•it's like someone nurturing from your childhood coming to help you out
•bringing awareness and connection back into your body to feel what is happening so a change can occur

When I first heard this, "feeling occurs before thought," I had to think about it for a quick moment! And I realized this is so true. Our brain is continuously interpreting all sensory input happening to us, all physical sensations and emotions. There is the feeling and then our brain tells us something about it! So why is it we are so fast to tune out the feeling and be wrapped up in thoughts? I'm sure there is a gazillion answers to this question!
In sessions we work on feeling into what sensations you are experiencing. We work on creating deeper mind-body awareness tapping into what you are noticing in the present moment. These awarenesses in, and also out of, treatment can turn into magical keys that may help you unlock something that needs to shift. This shift may in turn allow you to create a change.
