The M.L.C. in the News -

Yes, there was a fire overnight at the Medical Loan Closet. It occurred on our grounds behind the main building. An outbuilding used for storage was destroyed after hours, but thankfully, no one was injured.

Our main warehouse and office were not affected, and we are open for our regular hours. Thank you for your concern.

Also, a big shout-out goes to the Wichita Fire Department for making quick work of the blaze and keeping it from doing even more damage.

Good Morning! After a weekend of cold and snow, the Medical Loan Closet is open and ready to serve you. The sidewalks have been treated, and the parking lot has been cleared, but some snow remains. Please use extra caution when visiting.

Temperatures are warming, and the MLC parking lot has been scooped. We will be open regular hours beginning Tuesday, 1/27/26.

Please check in with your elderly or disabled neighbors and relatives this weekend to make sure they are doing okay. A quick phone call will likely mean a lot to them.

FYI: For anyone needing to go to an emergency shelter during the storm, the Wichita Animal Shelter will watch your pets at no charge while you stay warm.
