🎄✨ Holiday Celebration Highlights ✨🎄
On Tuesday, our residents enjoyed a heart-warming holiday celebration filled with good food, beautiful music, and special moments. We started the day with a delicious soup and baked potato bar prepared by our wonderful staff—nothing better than comfort food shared with friends!

Next, we were treated to an incredible performance by the Maize South High School Choir. Their voices filled the room and truly brought the holiday spirit to life. 🎶❤️

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better… 🎅 Santa made a special appearance! He helped pass out gifts and even went room to room to say hello, making sure every resident felt the magic of the season.

Our hearts are so full, and we are incredibly thankful for everyone who made this day possible. A huge thank you to MK Wound, ACG hospice, Heartland Hospice, along with our amazing staff, doctors, and the many volunteers who chose to support a resident this year. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can say. 💕
We truly could not do this without the love and support of our community. 🎁🎄

🎄🎶 What a wonderful couple of days filled with music and movement! 🎶🎄
Yesterday, we were treated to a beautiful Christmas program by Dori from Interim. We loved listening to her sing and share her incredible talent with us—she truly brought the holiday spirit to our community.
Today, we switched things up with Drum Ball thanks to Home Health and Hospice of Kansas! Steven brought out his equipment and got everyone involved. We had a great time getting a little physical while still having lots of fun and plenty of smiles.
We are so thankful for our community partners who help create such meaningful and joyful experiences for our residents! ❤️🥁🎤

No fear — Rolling Hills will still have a full Turkey Dinner today! Our brave “hunters,” big and small, set out yesterday for a lively turkey hunt throughout the building. The laughter never stopped as everyone joined in on the fun and chased down our mischievous “turkeys.” It was a joyful and lighthearted way to kick off the holiday celebrations here at Rolling Hills!

We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving day.

🐾 We had the sweetest visitors ! 🐾
Our residents and staff were all smiles as the cutest little kittens made their way through our community. There’s nothing quite like a dose of furry cuddles to brighten everyone’s day! 💛✨
Thank you to our special kitten friends for spreading so much joy—our halls were filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of soft purrs.

Last week our staff and residents spent the afternoon getting our hands dirty and our hearts full during our Plant & Sip event! 🌱✨

We enjoyed repotting succulents, decorating our pots with personal touches, sharing laughs, and sipping on warm beverages while creating something beautiful together. Staff also took a moment to complete their employee surveys, making it a productive and meaningful afternoon for everyone. 💚

Yesterday we honored and celebrated our amazing Maintenance Supervisor, Michael Thompson, as he retires after 39 incredible years of service to Rolling Hills Health and Rehab.
His hard work, reliability, and care have kept our building running smoothly and our residents safe and comfortable for nearly four decades. 💙
Michael, thank you for your commitment, your kindness, and all the little (and big!) things you’ve done over the years to make Rolling Hills feel like home. You will truly be missed, and we wish you the very best in your well-deserved retirement!

🎶☀️ Beautiful Day, Beautiful Music! ☀️🎶
Today, one of our residents and one of our Independent Living neighbors took advantage of the gorgeous weather by spending the afternoon outdoors strumming the guitar together. Their music brought smiles to everyone who passed by. A perfect reminder of how special our community connections are! 💛

This week our facility was full of spirit as we celebrated Spirit Week! Each day brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of fun from both our residents and staff. We ended the week with a festive Halloween celebration — complete with costumes, a party, and a special visit from the community’s little trick-or-treaters! 🎃
Our residents loved handing out candy and seeing all the children in their costumes. Moments like these remind us how special it is to be part of such a wonderful, caring community. 💕

Our residents had a wildly wonderful evening exploring Wild Lights at the Sedgwick County Zoo! 🦓🐉✨ The glowing lanterns, colorful displays, and cheerful company made for a truly magical night. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special outing possible — the smiles say it all! 💛
