Effective immediately:
Considering the recent exponential growth of the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping in mind the safety of our immunocompromised patients (who are on multiple immunosuppressive medications) and safety of our staff members, we have mutually decided to keep the office closed for the following week (03/23 - 03/27). We do apologise for any inconvenience this decision of ours might cause but the safety of everyone is our utmost goal in these trying times of our lives.
All the appointments scheduled this week will be made phone visits with Dr. Malik. If you have an appointment scheduled this Tuesday or Thursday, please expect a phone call/ visit on those days, as Dr. Malik plans to make these phone calls to provide continuity of care, which is very important to us too.
For any medication refill, please contact your pharmacy or let Dr. Malik know during your phone visit of the refill you are needing and I will do my best to follow up within those requests via escribe.
We are taking this week by week as of right now and will decide about the following week on next Sunday, March 29, 2020.
We plan to call all the patients from this week again to reschedule in the next 4-6 weeks as the circumstances allow.
