So thankful for these P1 students on their community pharmacy rotations who have been such a big help at Whites Pharmacy these past few weeks! We’re glad we get them for just a little longer.

We hope we’ve been able to teach them well and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in their future as pharmacists 🤍

From left to right, Trace Roseberry and Sydney Klaire Ivy are P1 pharmacy students from William Carey University completing their Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience. We are so excited to have them for the month and be a small part of their journey in pharmacy!

We also love welcoming our weekly health science students who come to job shadow—this week featuring Jaelen Leidigh!

Twisted Pines Quail Farm was established in 2014 just outside of Wiggins in Carnes. The business is owned by Del and Annette Scarborough, along with their son Jeremy and his wife, Katelyn Scarborough. Their name came from two pine trees the family found twisted together in the back of their fields.

What started with just a few quail and a dream has grown into something truly special. Today, they have expanded their flock to a few thousand birds and even have a brand-new facility to process their eggs.

Twisted Pines offers a wide variety of delicious pickled quail egg flavors, including Original, Jalapeño, Spicy, Cajun, Bread and Butter, Dill, and their newest popular flavor, Garlic Butter. In addition to quail eggs, they also pickle okra, baby corn, and chicken eggs — so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

With so many delicious options to choose from, it’s easy to see why so many people love Twisted Pines Quail Farm. They are also FDA certified.

Mr. John and Mrs. Pat Solomon attended his University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy Class of 1976 reunion a few weekends ago—14 classmates and even a professor were there! Wow. What an incredible career he has had. The number of lives he’s touched and the trust his patients have in him and White’s Pharmacy is truly something special.

Papa always loved him like a son, and we are so grateful that Mr. John is still right here with us—continuing to serve, care for others, and make a difference every single day!
