A major milestone was reached as Dr. Theresa Case successfully performed the very first robotic bronchoscopy procedure at Memorial Hospital Biloxi, joined in celebration by Dr. Bobby Tullos, Dr. Summer Allen, and the dedicated Memorial Pulmonology team who made it all possible.

So, what does that mean for you?

A bronchoscopy is a procedure that allows doctors to look inside the lungs to find the cause of a cough, infection, or even detect lung cancer early. With robotic bronchoscopy, our physicians can now reach smaller areas of the lung with greater precision, helping find potential problems sooner while reducing risks and supporting faster recovery.

This advanced technology was made possible through the dedication of our pulmonology team, hospital leadership, and everyone who helped bring this innovation to Biloxi.

We’re proud to expand access to life-saving diagnostics right here on the Coast, because better tools lead to better outcomes for our community.

At Memorial, we believe that the heart of care begins with connection, both inside and outside our hospital walls. This month, we’re reminded how powerful our community partnerships can be.

We’re deeply grateful to Morning Star Baptist Church for their generous donation of snacks for our ICU waiting room.

Our teams are also proud to be active in the community, continuing the cycle of giving and growth. From inspiring students at local schools to sharing information about 3D mammogram services and mammogram vouchers at community events, we are committed to helping our neighbors live healthier lives.

Thank you to every partner, organization, and neighbor who continues to invest in better health for all.

❤️ Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Our team showed up for their health! From screenings to wellness resources, this year’s Employee Health Fair was all about encouraging our staff to prioritize their health just like they do for our patients every day.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to the departments who made it possible!

Breast reconstruction is about more than surgery. It’s about healing, confidence, and feeling like yourself again after breast cancer.

At Memorial Health System, our team uses the latest technology in breast reconstruction, including the DIEP Flap procedure — a more natural option that uses your own skin and fat from your lower stomach to rebuild the breast instead of implants.

✨ What makes it special:

It gives a more natural look and feel

It helps protect your stomach muscles

It often allows for an easier recovery and long-term strength

Every woman’s journey is unique, and every decision is personal. What matters most is knowing your options and having a team that supports you through each step.
