🛑 IMPORTANT UPDATE!! 🚨
Healthy Healing Chiropractic will be closing it's doors PERMANENTLY in St. Louis County on APRIL 16th! A great big THANK YOU to the community for all the support shown over the years.

We will leave the phone number active for about 3 months after closure for anyone with questions and beyond 3 months email will always be an option. Again, thank you for all of your support! GC

So why isn't this more common!?

🔸️Birthing in a parallel squatting position can open the pelvic outlet an average of 28% wider then if in the lithotomy position (on your back)?

🔸️ Unfortunately, the lithotomy position is the most widely used birthing position but the least beneficial for mom and baby.

🔸️Before your birth, set up a time to speak with your care provider about all your options; squatting, all 4's standing, birth stool and on your side, just to name a few.

🔸️ Don't wait until you are pushing to negotiate birthing positions!

I know we're living in some very unusual and confusing times. It has been brought to my attention that a large number of you may not have realized that I'm still treating patients. I am!!

Hours and days are limited due to the current situation and appointments are set so that no one has to encounter anyone else. Extra cleaning measures are being taken and we're running ozone in the evenings when the office is closed.

Finally "science" is catching up!! Another reason cranial work is SO IMPORTANT!! Not only do we need that gentle respiratory motion in the cranial bones to facilitate the pumping of CSF, we also need any dural restrictions removed for optimal flow of CSF with no blockages to compressed or compromised areas!!

We are quite literally having our brains washed every night. Neuroscientists have now produced a fascinating video that shows this nocturnal pulsing process in action.
