Calling all adult artists! The NAMI Mental Health Awareness Walk Committee has opened a logo contest to help design the 2026 Mental Health Awareness Walk t-shirt. Deadline is March 18 and details are below. Yor creativity is needed to help make this a successful event later in 2026.

Captain Robert Stehle from Wilkes-Barre City Fire Department (second from right) recently visited with our Psychiatric Rehabilitation/Liberty House staff and members, providing an hour-long fire safety presentation with many valuable tips -- including how to use a fire extinguisher (without actually spraying!). He was greeted (from left) by Judy Endo, Jude Carter, and Jenna Maher. We are so proud of this team and our members who have endless curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning.

The United Way of Wyoming Valley will kick off its 2025 Campaign on September 17. As a campaign sponsor and recipient of its generous funding to serve our community, Children's Service Center and its adult care affiliate, Robinson Counseling Center, collaborate to align with its the mission of helping children and families move from poverty to possibility. Nominate CSC by Sept. 3 at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2025UWWVPeoplesChoice for the People's Choice Award, which will recognize a top nonprofit organization that inspires and engages families through their mission and impact. We look forward to seeing our many community partners at this inspiring annual event!

Our Tunkhannock Blended Case Management and Psychiatric Rehabilitation teams really know how to throw a party! Last week in Wyoming County, they hosted more than 150 clients and their families at a carnival that featured a bounce house, games, prizes, food, magic tricks, and face painting. Despite the hot, humid weather, the vibe was cool and refreshing! We truly appreciate our staff for their amazing efforts to make life better for our clients, who are improving their health and well-being thanks to the collaboration of these dedicated professionals.
