Our dedicated team joined Governor Josh Shapiro and the Pennsylvania departments of health and drug and alcohol programs last week at the Wyoming County Emergency Management Agency for the Governor’s roundtable discussion on efforts to save lives, prevent fatal overdoses, and support families struggling with substance use disorder. The visit followed the release of the Shapiro Administration’s Overdose Prevention Program Annual Report, which details considerable progress in reducing overdose deaths across Pennsylvania. Participants included (from left): Christopher Boyle, President & CEO, Children’s Service Center of Wyoming Valley; Governor Shapiro; and Robinson Counseling Center’s Cammie Anderson, roundtable panelist and prevention/outreach coordinator, and Eric Pollick, Director, Substance Use Disorders Program. Serving more than 1,800 clients in 2025, Robinson Counseling Center’s Substance Use Disorders program continues this important work, offering treatment, support, education, and outreach to further improve on these goals.
