Our team was out and about (looking spooktacular, we might add!) in Tunkhannock last night, hosting an amazing Trunk or Treat for clients and the community. It was a perfect evening with a great turnout. Thanks to all for your hard work and creativity to benefit Wyoming County!

We are dedicated to helping families thrive and stay together! Led by our Substance Use Disorder team, a recent stop was the 19th Annual Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Conference held last week at the Woodlands Inn. Drug and Alcohol Specialist Jessica Budzak presented to the group and outreach team members Elizabeth Wegener and Christina Loughney offered a wide range of resources. The event drew both grandparents and social service professionals for a day of education and support.

Today in Tunkhannock, our team observed Domestic Violence Awareness Day, including (from left) Sam Millard, Kate Connor, and Nancy Hickok. CSC, Robinson Counseling Center, and Conyngham Primary Health Care Center are committed to helping victims of domestic violence and to collaborating on community efforts to prevent its devastating effect on individuals and families. Thanks for taking the time, ladies!

Children’s Service Center, together with its Robinson Counseling Center and Conyngham Primary Health Care Center, has opened a newly appointed occupational therapy suite at 110 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Designed to enhance care for children and adolescents with autism and other cognitive and developmental challenges, the OT suite will help clients and families improve functioning, independence, and quality of life. Services are provided weekdays by appointment. Pictured is Occupational Therapist Fallon Gorski, MS, OTR/L, (center) with Sarah Wittle and Tom Mitchell of CSC's Intensive Behavioral Health Services. More than 400 guests joined us on Saturday when we hosted Community Connections Day, which was sponsored by Luzerne/Wyoming County MH/DS.
