Our school students had a ball today thanks to the kindness and generosity of Young Lawyers Division of the Wilkes-Barre Law & Library Association/Luzerne County Bar Association. These outstanding legal professionals have hosted the annual celebration for many years, bringing gifts, pizza, and good cheer to the children of Milford Barnes School. We appreciate you, Young Lawyers Division!

It’s a great honor and privilege that the Trion elves have been able to work with Santa for the past 30 years to deliver smiles and presents to the wonderful children of the Children's Service Center.

It was a great day at the Winter Wonderland event at Mohegan Pennsylvania, where several hundred people attended to learn about resources for mental health and autism for individuals and families. CSC’s Nick Gebhardt, Allyce Letteer, and Dawn Whipple welcomed “Elf Bob” from Highmark, who delivered more than 100 gifts for young clients today. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield employees have given generously to CSC’s Giving Tree for underserved families for many years. Thanks to all who participated! 🎄🎅🏼

The generosity of our team continues to amaze us! Staff organized a food drive in November to collect non-perishable foods and hygiene products for the clients we serve. The effort honored a very kind and generous coworker, Susan Jones, who passed away earlier this year. More than 40 bundles were prepared to assist families who were experiencing hardship as they enter the holiday season. Our Adoption Program thrives through a great team and many amazing partners who are united in providing ways for prospective parents and adoptive parents to achieve family goals. This Dec 8 event offered in Luzerne County and virtually provides parents and caregivers with an opportunity to share their experiences and discover resources to strengthen their families.
