Health Risks of Secondhand Smoke - What is secondhand smoke?
Secondhand smoke is also called environmental to***co smoke. It’s a mixture of 2 forms of smoke that come from burning to***co:
* Mainstream smoke: The smoke exhaled by a person who smokes to***co.
* Sidestream smoke: Smoke from the lighted end of a cigarette, pipe, or cigar, or smoke from to***co burning in a ho**ah.
Sidestream smoke has higher concentrations of ni****ne and cancer-causing agents (carcinogens) than mainstream smoke.
