We’re proud to celebrate Kelsey, our Director of Nursing at Edenbrook Hampton, and a PHCA Rising Star!
Kelsey’s path to long-term care wasn’t planned but it’s where she found her purpose. She started as an aide, joined Hampton in 2016 as an LPN, and has grown into a leadership role where she continues to make a difference every day.
She says the transition to Eden Senior Care brought new energy to the building: more teamwork, more positivity, and a stronger sense of family.
One of the people who’s made a lasting impact on her journey? Her colleague Erin Matello, who’s been by her side since day one.

“I wouldn’t be the nurse I am today without her.”

Kelsey doesn’t seek the spotlight, so being named a PHCA Rising Star was a surprise but a meaningful one.

“I do this work because I love it. Being recognized like this is truly humbling.”

Her advice to others thinking about long-term care: “It’s incredibly rewarding, but don’t forget to take care of yourself too.”
Thinking about joining Edenbrook? Kelsey says, “You’ll be supported, appreciated, and part of something special.”
And just for fun—she’s great at laser tag… but don’t ask her to do a cartwheel!

🚨 Honoring Our Heroes on National Emergency Responders Day 🚨

Edenbrook Hampton proudly partnered with MISSION BBQ to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who always answer the call.

Mission BBQ’s dedication to serving those who serve inspires us — together, we came together to show gratitude for our local first responders at Hanover Township Police Department, Hanover Township Community Ambulance Association Medic 9, and Hanover Township Fire Dept who selflessly protect and support our communities every day.

A heartfelt thank you to Corey at Mission BBQ for your partnership, and to every emergency responder for your unwavering commitment, courage, and compassion. 💙🚑🚒🚓

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to the first responders who come to our buildings providing care, comfort, and support to our residents when they need it most. Your dedication truly makes a difference.

“When my dad needed rehab, Edenbrook reached out and reassured us he would be cared for just like he would be at home — and they delivered beyond our expectations.

The communication was incredible throughout his stay. The team made sure he felt included in activities, which truly surprised us since he’s always been a bit of a loner. The aides were caring, attentive, and treated him with genuine kindness.

One of the nurses even took the time to speak with me personally, easing the guilt and worry that often comes with placing a loved one in someone else’s care.

If he ever needs skilled nursing or rehab again — Edenbrook will be our first call. They made all the difference.”
