Free testing at NCCH Health Screening event on Wed., May 12

Northern Cochise Community Hospital will hold a free Health Screening event on Wednesday, May 12, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., in the back of the hospital next to the Lab. You may enter at the Medical Records door in the East Wing. Masks are required. The event is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Anyone age 18 or older can participate.
Free services offered include blood pressure checks, rehab benchmark strength tests, and glucose testing and lipid profile, which includes looking at cholesterol, triglyceride and HDL.
The labs (glucose testing and lipid profiles) will be offered from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and you must come in fasting – no eating or drinking prior to the test from midnight on.
Information on health issues will also be available, such as information on strokes and heart attacks and what to do if someone has one, as well as poisons, opioid information and our services provided at NCCH and our clinics.
No appointments are needed for any services from NCCH during this event.

Rehab receives exciting gift!

NCCH Rehab received an awesome donation from Pastor Bob Cutlipp this week! The GR8 FLEX machine allows workout on almost every part of your body on one machine!! Rehab staff Welton Wittwer, Jonelle Wartenberg and Michael Payne pose with Pastor Cutlipp and the new equipment Tuesday.
Pastor Cutlipp said, "The Rehab staff has been so good to me here and I have no out-of-pocket expense any time I'm here. This is a way I can say 'Thank you!'"
Rehab Manager Wittwer added, "Our patients will love it! You can get a total, complete body workout!"
