Dear Members, Associates, and Friends.
The OSGG hopes everyone is doing well during these difficult times. The restrictions on meetings and gatherings and the economic shut-downs imposed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic have had their effect on all of us, the Guild included.
As a result, the board of directors of the OSGG have decided to re-organize the organization from a mutual benefit, not for profit to a non-incorporated association of cannabis farmers, growers, patients, and consumers. The result of this will be that we will no longer be accepting memberships per-say. Current members paying monthly dues will have their monthly dues stopped and members who have paid for the year in advance will be refunded the remainder of their yearly dues as of Oct 1st 2020.
Those of us on the board, and the few who are still actively participating, will continue our work in the name of the Guild to promote responsible legislation, promote medical patients, growers, and the medical system, help establish the h**p industry, and continue to work towards interstate export for the recreational system. The website will remain active and we will continue to post webinars, news, and information as we are able.
When we are able to resume meetings, we will. In the meantime, we'll continue to promote networking, education, and social interaction among our industry. Until then we hope everyone and their families stay safe and well.
Sincerely yours,
The Oregon SunGrowers Guild Board of Directors
