Lately, I’ve noticed my chest feeling tight and my shoulders tense — like I can’t quite get a full breath. Too many hours at the desk have me curling forward instead of opening up.

I started thinking, what if we had a session to gently stretch and release all that tension before sinking into a sound bath?

So I reached out to my friend Sarah, a choreographer here in the city, to create something special together. She’ll guide a 30-minute candlelit movement practice — slow, healing stretches with my sound bath playing softly in the background — followed by a full hour of deep rest on the mat.

Kicked off our very first sound bath in Nutley, NJ 🎶✨ Drew chose to celebrate his birthday here with Ali, and the bowls carried the room into a softer, lighter space with every note. A beautiful way to close out the long weekend. 🌙

Sometimes I wish I had eight arms like an octopus—just so I could play all these new sound instruments at once 🐙✨

Today’s first Deep Rest Sound Bath Symphony was a beautiful success. I wove together the oceanic pulse of the wave instrument, the grounding resonance of the deep bass chime bar, and the shimmering tones of my beloved crystal singing bowls. The vibrations moved through the room like a tide—gentle, deep, and full of feeling.

I can’t wait to share these new layers of sound with you again next week. There’s so much more to explore.

I’ve always dreamed of having a gong—there’s something about its deep, resonant tone that invites an instant sense of release, like an exhale for the soul. Thanks to , I finally found the perfect one for my practice.

Alongside it, I brought home “the wave”—an instrument that echoes the rhythm of the ocean, gently carrying us inward like the tide.

Starting this August, both sounds will become part of our private and community sessions. I can’t wait to share their magic with you.

During yesterday’s sound bath, I was asked one of the rarest and most sacred questions:

“What should I name my baby?”

Most people come to these sessions seeking something for themselves — clarity, calm, a return to center. But when a mother-to-be lies down in stillness, something shifts. Her focus expands. Her breath makes space for two.

During the tarot reading that followed, she asked not about her own path, but about the soul quietly forming within her.
The card that arrived was the Knight of Wands — bold, radiant, Leo energy. Fire in motion. A child of spark and strength.

But beyond that, the message was clear:
This child will carry grace — the kind that comes not from posture, but from deep-rooted self-knowing.
We often think of grace as something elegant. But true grace is forged in confidence — and confidence is learned by watching someone else blossom without apology.

This journey won’t just shape a child.
It will invite a mother into her own expansion — one that the child will carry as part of their origin story.
What a beginning. What a gift.
