Feeling so grateful for the opportunity to work with the amazing William & Mary Women’s Lacrosse Team today. 💚💛

It was such an honor to support these athletes, and I’m thankful to the coaching staff Katie, Kelyn, and Bianca for inviting me in.

I had an absolute blast teaching a Halloween themed mini yoga class for the William & Mary Women’s Basketball Team yesterday! Their costumes were amazing. 🏀🎃

The energy in the room was incredible full of laughter, teamwork, and connection. This team was such a joy to teach, and I can’t wait to come out and cheer them on at a future game! 💛💚

A huge thank you to Coach Jacob for inviting me in, and to lululemon & Faith for coming out laat minute and gifting the players something special.

Congrats to the teammate who won the lululemon mug I brought ( I hope you liked the color 💚 ) such a fun surprise!

🌅✨ Last night’s sunset beach yoga was pure magic! We planted seeds for the fall & let go of the things that no longer serve us this season. I’m beyond grateful for this amazing community that continues to show up and share these special moments together. 💛 I truly love what I do, and it fills my heart to share the beautiful gift of yoga with you all.

✨ I’m so excited to finally share the album from our Governor’s Palace Yoga on the Green event. This gathering was such a beautiful reminder of the power of the yoga community, movement, and connection.

✨ Thank you to all of the wonderful students & yoga teacher friends who came out to practice yoga at Spoke & Art today and for your generous donations to the Humane Society! 🐾💛 I’ll be posting a picture tomorrow when I drop everything off, so stay tuned — and keep an eye out for our next community events.

I’ll be offering another free community yoga class on the deck at Spoke & Art on Saturday, August 16 from 8:00–9:00 AM. There is an event posted with details.
We’ll be collecting optional donations to benefit Heritage Humane Society. Their current needs include:
🐾 Soft dog treats
🐾 Canned cat food (pâté style)
🐾 Dry cat food
🐾 Gently used blankets and towels

Donations are completely optional—the class is free and open to all!

After class, feel free to hang out, stroll the beautiful Virginia Capital Trail, grab a coffee or snack, and enjoy live music at noon.

This week, we move into Week 4 of the "Moving with Intention" series: Expand ✨—a theme that invites us to open up physically, mentally, and emotionally. Expect a flow that nurtures openness through deep twists, hip releases, and heart openers. Let’s create space where we breathe into new possibilities.🙏

One of my favorite reminders for this week—and a quotes from last week’s Ignite theme—are included below in case you missed it. I’ve been trying to make artwork for all of my quotes I make for students and save them to share/come back to when you need them.

Spring into Renewal with My New Schedule!

This month, we’ve been diving into weekly meditations—beginning with love and kindness metta meditation, moving through gratitude and letting go, and closing with a refreshing spring renewal meditation.

I’m also thrilled to share that my new spring schedule is now live on my website, featuring some exciting new classes with formats I am so passionate about. 🧘🏻‍♀️🥰

If you come to my in person classes, then you know, I love a good thoracic spine mobility drill. These are some of my top favorite ways to keep a healthy spine. If you come to my classes, you know that I add in these little mobility drills shown in the video here and there.

This week, my students are focusing on the strength we cultivated last week and setting intentions based off joy. What is joy to you? When I looked up the definition of joy in the Webster’s dictionary it said a feeling or state of well being and contentment. How can we cultivate this contentment on our mats? How can we bring it out into the world? We will explore that this week. I’ve designed a vinyasa practice, fused with strength drills, and core to break up the flow.

This week in yoga sculpt, we will be using a lot of of our own body weight for strength and moving through a balance flow.

For the month of February, I will introduce a new positive word each week & suggest it as our collective intention. We will explore what that word means on and off the mat and ways we can apply this in our practice and outside of the practice room. Wishing you all an amazing rest of the week.

I hope everyone is off to an amazing start this week and enjoying this beautiful snow day! Here’s a glimpse of an archer flow I taught a few weeks ago.

The theme of that class was about finding adventure and flexibility—not physical flexibility, but internal. It was an opportunity to shift perspective, try new things, and explore movement in a new way.

If you’ve joined me in person recently, I hope you’ve enjoyed the classes I’ve put together. This week, we’re focusing on moving the spine in six directions to create freedom in our backs. We’ll also start diving back into the Koshas and how they apply to us on and off the mat.

So happy to be back teaching last week! This week, we’re focusing on setting intentions for what you want to cultivate in this brand-new year, while also reflecting on the opportunities and growth 2024 brought us.

Next week, I’ll be announcing a new series for my classes. Over the past few months, we’ve been exploring the Yamas and Niyamas in depth, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

I just returned from an amazing trip to DC, where I had the chance to visit some great studios and practice some yoga sculpt and power classes—it was such an inspiring experience.

This week, we’ll continue flowing through Archer’s variations (except my Saturday class, where I’ll be introducing my newest class plan).
