Most professional piercers strongly advise against turning your earrings. Twisting them can actually cause extra trauma to the healing tissue, leading to inflammation and even increasing the risk of infection.

🧠 Fun Fact:
Many of us grew up hearing this advice! I remember everyone telling my mom to make sure she turned my earrings after I got my ears pierced 😳 — but now we know better!
