Patriots Colony Takes Top Honors At Alzheimer’s Walk!

Patriots Colony was awarded Champions Club status at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on Sat, October 25, in New Town. Together, our community raised the most money in the Williamsburg area: $23,130.15!

special thank you to Patriots Colony resident, Jack Greenhalgh, for all his efforts with the Good Shot Judy concert.
Another special thanks to resident, Jim O’Connell, for his Outer Banks condo donation, which was another great fundraiser!

PC Legends

Bravo to "PC Legends" - our resident dance band who recently performed in the Grand Hall! The concert was a wonderful, nonstop, 90-minute show to a packed house! Who knew we have such talented musicians living in our community. We cannot wait until their next performance. Look out, Good Shot Judy! 🥰

Two Patriots Colony Residents Inducted into Dekker Society at VA Tech

One former & one current Patriots Colony resident were inducted into the Dekker Society of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Alumni on September 19 at Virginia Tech. Current resident Colonel Donald D. Sowder was inducted at the ceremony (pictured at cake-cutting ceremony), and former resident Major General Archie S. Cannon, U.S. Army Retired was inducted posthumously.

The newly-formed Dekker Society honors those who have served on the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Alumni, Inc. Board of Directors & whose exceptional service & contributions have profoundly impacted the Board & the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets.

The society is named after Henry J. Dekker, a 1944 graduate of the Corps of Cadets, a WWII veteran, & former Rector of the Virginia Tech Board of Directors.
