Missy has recently completed EMDR Basic Training and can now offer EMDR therapy as part of our trauma‑informed services here at Southern Roots.

EMDR is an evidence‑based approach that helps the brain process distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, and restore a sense of safety. Missy is currently engaged in ongoing EMDRIA‑approved consultation to deepen this work and continue toward full certification.

If you’ve been carrying something heavy — old wounds, stuck memories, anxiety that won’t let go — EMDR can help create real movement and relief.
