We at PEACE for Moms are grateful for a new option for those suffering from postpartum depression.

As many as 4 out of 5 women experience so-called “baby blues” in the weeks following birth. But postpartum depression is a psychiatric issue that often goes unrecognized.

While not a topic we regularly discuss at PEACE for Moms, menopause is a natural and inevitable part of aging affecting the vast majority of American women, typically between the ages of 45 and 55. The season finale of Brain Health Center’s Fantastic Mind on Public Broadcasting explores what is happening in a woman’s brain and body during menopause and its impact on daily life. On this week’s episode of Fantastic Mind, we introduce you to four women going through the various stages of menopause. Hear their stories, as well as advice from experts to help navigate this life transition. Brain Health Center will see you tomorrow at 7:00PM on P***c Broadcasting.
