Homewood Living Ministries is a nonprofit organization that has been serving seniors for more than 90 years. Headquartered in Williamsport, Maryland, we are a Christian ministry dedicated to serving residents across five life plan communities located in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Founded on a commitment to Christ and caring for seniors, we believe seniors can lead purpose filled and joyful lives, so we provide specialized lifestyle options and care tailored to each resident, along with a variety of services, learning opportunities and engaging experiences. Our continuum of care options, from residential living to healthcare services, meet our residents uniquely where they are today and are designed to adapt if their needs change in the future.

Homewood Living Frederick is seeking an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership and operational oversight, ensuring the fulfillment of the organization’s mission through excellence in care, service, and stewardship. Located less than an hour from Washington, DC; Annapolis; and Baltimore, Homewood Living Frederick is a vibrant Life Plan Community serving more than 700 residents and employing a dedicated team of more than 300 professionals.
As the community’s chief executive leader, the Executive Director reports to the Homewood Living Ministries' Chief Operating Officer and serves as a visible ambassador of the organization’s ministry and values. This role fosters meaningful relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners, while advancing the long-term sustainability and ministry impact of the organization.

Homewood Living Ministries and residents from our campuses had a wonderful time attending the Gerald Wolfe Gospel Music Hymn Sing at Lancaster Mennonite Bible School. The uplifting music and meaningful fellowship filled the day with joy, and a stop at a local eatery made for the perfect ending to a fun‑filled outing.
A heartfelt thank you to David St. John, Director of Ministry Development, for organizing such a memorable experience. A special shout‑out as well to Makenzie Yingling from our Plum Creek campus and Sally Helch from our corporate team, who hosted for Homewood and shared information about our wonderful communities with concert attendees!

For 80 plus years, Homewood has been committed to providing superior care services to enhance the quality of life. Residents enjoy attractive homes and a vibrant, worry-free lifestyle, as well as a comprehensive array of support and services that enhance every aspect of daily life. Our friendly communities emphasize the best combination of interaction, privacy, security, freedom, lifelong learning and enjoyment. We currently operate beautiful retirement communities located in Frederick, Maryland, Williamsport, Maryland, Hanover, Pennsylvania, Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, and Everett, Pennsylvania. Based in Washington County, Maryland, just outside of Hagerstown, Homewood Retirement Centers is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and operates with our own Board of Trustees who are responsible for Homewood's management. Of course, all of our services are open to all persons regardless of creed, s*x, race or national origin.
