If you’re a mom feeling overstimulated, stretched thin, or bracing for family dynamics, here are gentle ways to support your nervous system:

🌿 Take sensory breaks. Step outside, sit in a quiet room, or take a bathroom breather. Silence counts as self-care.

🌿 Set boundaries early. “I’m stepping away for a moment.” “We’re keeping visits short today.” Simple, firm, and enough.

🌿 Lower the bar. You don’t have to host like Martha Stewart. “Good enough” is still good.

🌿 Tag-team if you can. Trade off child-watching with a partner or trusted relative.

🌿 Prepare a comfort plan. Headphones, a cozy sweater, grounding breaths, a favorite drink—tiny resets matter.

🌿 Give yourself permission. To leave early. To say no. To rest. To not entertain. To be human.

You deserve peace during the holidays, too. 🤍
