Your stretch session is all about helping your body unwind and move with ease โ and a little prep goes a long way. ๐ฟ
Before you step into your next session, here are a few simple doโs and donโts to help you get the most out of your time on the table. From staying hydrated, to dressing comfortably, to showing up with an open mind โ it all makes a difference in how your body feels (and how deeply you can relax).
Because when you take a moment to prepare your body, your body returns the favor. ๐ค
๐ง Hydration
DO: Hydrate before your session โ your muscles love water! Staying hydrated helps improve flexibility and allows your body to move more freely during your stretch.
DONโT: Rely on coffee, soda, or wine beforehand โ they can dehydrate your muscles and make it harder for your body to fully relax and respond.
๐งโโ๏ธ Dress for Comfort
DO: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily โ think athletic wear, joggers, or leggings. The goal is to help your body feel supported and unrestricted during your session.
DONโT: Wear jeans, tight waistbands, or clothing that limits your range of motion. You want to stretch you, not your outfit.
๐ง Bring an Open Mind
DO: Come ready to relax, let go, and tune in to your body. Every session is different, and allowing yourself to be present helps you get the most out of your experience.
DONโT: Rush in with a busy mind or expect to โperform.โ Stretching isnโt about perfection โ itโs about connection, release, and feeling your best.
