Sisters Marti and Moira have been with us for almost a year now! 😢 When rescued last May, they were completely terrified 😿 And even now, they're really struggling to adjust to shelter life 💔 They have difficulty trusting people and are still very hand shy. NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE IN SWEET RESCUE DOG 💔 Poor Jersey has to be moved from his current foster home due to not getting along with resident cats. He will be going into boarding Monday if Buddy's Second Chance Rescue can’t find him a new home and they are heartbroken by this. Jersey will not do well and will shut down. Please fill out a foster application if you can help!

I am a gorgeous boy with lots of love to give. I am rather calm for a Husky, but do still need some daily exercise to keep me out of any mischief!

I get along great with other dogs and kids. Older kids may be best though, as we are still working on jumping up (for loving, of course). But I'm getting better! I do like to play fetch and know some basic commands, like sit, down, and stay.

NO CATS or other small animals please as I have a high prey drive. Other than that I'm the sweetest boy you have ever met. I don't really bark, but I do "talk" once in a while like most huskies!

I would do best in a home with someone who stays at home or works from home as I do have some separation anxiety, or someone who doesn’t need me to be crated.

I can't wait to meet you, play with you and snuggle. I may be grown, but I am still a lapdog at heart.

It’s the 25 Days of Shelter Dogs! ❤️ Every day up until Christmas we will be sharing a shelter dog from City of Buffalo Animal Shelter in the hopes that they might find a home for the holidays!

Meet Ford! 🖤

Ford is one of the shelter’s longer term guys that has just fallen through the cracks. He’s friendly with people and dogs. He is young, has good manners and a cute little chunky butt with a tail that never stops!

He’s sponsored with a reduced adoption fee and training by the Buffalo Barkery and will make a nice addition to almost any home!

Sweet Buttercup here came to Pets Alive when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her 💔 At 8 years old, she is struggling to adapt to the busy shelter, spending most days hiding under her bed 😿 But when it's quiet and she feels safe, Buttercup can't get enough pets, kisses and belly rubs! 💜 She would do best in a quieter home with a nice warm lap to curl up on! 💛 To give this sweet girl her second chance at a furever home, please fill out an adoption application here:
