Dear Acupuncture Works Family,
Together with my family I feel so blessed to share that we are expecting a new addition later this year. Baby “Kit” is due at the end of September! Nora is quite set on a girl and naming her Play-Doh :-) Kitty has been staying close, the fur babies always know before we do.
As my pregnancy progresses we of course know nothing is guaranteed, but going off of how things went my first time around here is what I foresee: My availability will continue until the first week of September before Labor Day weekend, with leave extending through the holidays and picking back up in 2027.
Offering tidbits of home care at visits has always been extremely important to me. This comes from the belief in and empowerment of our body’s ability to heal. An emphasis on these conversations will be prioritized from now until my leave.
I am so fortunate to have capable colleagues to refer to while our family spends time getting to know and care for “Kit”. Dr. Andrea Schilling is available for acupuncture and Dr. William Hecht for chiropractic. For those wanting to use their insurance, please refer to your individual plan’s website for those in-network providers.
On a side note I must mention: those who are on their own fertility journey and especially those who I have cared for in the office, you are on my mind and from the bottom of my heart I wish you peace and hope.
A person can have many sources of joy in their life. For me being a wife, mother, and raising a family is one. Another is being a practitioner doing what I love and being a part of your health care team. Looking forward to these upcoming months with you. We got this!
