Patricia Mary Champagne 1948-2026

Patricia Champagne, beloved mother, adoring grandmother, loyal sister, devoted dog owner and lifelong Days Of Our Lives fan, 77, of Columbia, CT passed away in the early morning hours of February 26th, 2026 of Breast Cancer.

Patricia grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, a state she always maintained had the best food (particularly seafood), in the world. She married young and while Patricia had several part-time jobs over the years, her primary focus was always raising her children.

Patricia was a proud and endlessly supportive mother to three sons: Kenneth Jr, Keith and Kyle. Her boys were her pride and joy. It was firmly believed that if any of them ever needed to bury a body, Patricia would show up with a shovel and start digging, no questions asked. Luckily, that belief never needed to be tested.

Patricia is survived by her three aforementioned sons and their respective wives, Ecaterina, Melissa and Dana Champagne. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Samantha, Christian, Jack, Gabriel, Ryan and Cy Champagne and Brooke Cronin, as well as an extended family of brothers, sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends around the country. She truly loved them all and was equally loved in return. She will be missed beyond words.

The Champagne family will host a private celebration of Patricia’s life for close friends and family on a date to be determined.

James Francis McNally Jr., 65, of Lebanon husband of Susan (Russell) McNally passed away Thursday February 5, 2026 at his home. He was a civil engineer and licensed land surveyor. He graduated from NFA in 1978 and later obtained a degree from Thames Valley State Technical College. He began his career with Chandler, Palmer and King (CPK) in Norwich, after graduating high school. After many years with CPK he then went to work for Cummings & Lafayette (CLA) Engineers of Norwich. Jim then moved on to Boundaries of Griswold, where he spent several years before retiring in 2018. Jim spent much of his time designing work for Connecticut College.

After retiring, Jim continued his passion for project design on his own personal home of 34 years. He and Sue together loved to grow their own vegetables and design and maintain beautiful flower gardens around their home. Much time was spent creating a haven for birds and admiring them from their porch. When you visited them, no matter the season, you spent time on their porch, sipping coffee, enjoying tasty treats and getting a lesson on the many different types of birds visiting the vast array of feeders. His love for their dogs over the years was obvious to all. He brought them most everywhere they went and that unconditional love was mutual as his devoted dog Riley stayed right by his side as his illness progressed. Jim was serious about his work and his passion for excellence was undeniable, but his sense of humor was outstanding. Jim loved to throw a party at his home and the entertainment was the most important part. He loved to entertain the kids and Uncle Jim will forever be remembered for his crazy uncle antics as he hosted and choreographed the festivities for the Easter and Thanksgiving get-togethers and sleep-overs at his home.

Jim is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan (Russell) McNally. He is the son of Jean McNally of Bozrah and the late James McNally Sr. He is also survived by his three brothers, Glenn and Stacie McNally of Lisbon, Chris and Sheri McNally of Norwich and Pat and Maureen McNally of Trumbull, his brother in law, Tim and wife Jane Russell of Marietta, GA. He is also survived by his ten nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life to be held at a later date. Donations in Jim’s memory can be made to the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department. To donate now click below:

In loving Memory of Gregory Glynn

Gregory Glynn, 84, of Chaplin, CT, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born in Hartford, CT, Greg graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1966. A proud Husky, he parlayed his education into a distinguished 40-year career as an executive in the wire and cable industry. His work allowed him to be a true international traveler, exploring the world while building lasting professional legacies.

While his career took him across the globe, Greg’s heart was always near the water. Whether he was at his home on the Natchaug River, enjoying the tropical breeze of St. John, in the lanai on Marco Island, or by his pond in Mansfield. He was an avid fisherman, a dedicated boater, and an enthusiastic golfer, pursuing his passions with the same intensity he brought to every aspect of his life.

Above all, Greg was a man of deep loyalty. He was the beloved husband of Irene, with whom he shared a remarkable 62 years of marriage—a journey of love, adventure, and partnership. Throughout his life, he was never without a canine companion; he loved the many dogs that shared his homes over the years, most recently his beloved beagle, Bruce.

Greg is survived by his wife, Irene; his son, Scott; his daughter, Julie; and his four cherished grandchildren, Lily, Coulter, Abby, and Amanda, who will carry on his legacy of integrity and adventure.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life on February 11, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the ASPCA, in honor of Greg’s lifelong love for his dogs. https://secure.aspca.org/donate/memorial To send an online expression of sympathy, please visit www.adamscremationct.com
