We were proud to be back at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work MSW Job Fair last week connecting with the next generation of social workers!
Even more special, one of our own, Janna Blackstone, is a proud UConn alum who we first met and recruited at this very job fair three years ago.

She represented Generations at last week’s job fair where she shared her experience and helped inspire future social workers to consider careers in community health.

It was a full-circle moment and a great reminder of how powerful these connections can be. We were thrilled to meet students who are passionate about making a difference in the communities we serve.

Generations Family Health Center is offering a Spanish-speaking men’s therapy group designed to build community, support one another, and break the stigma around mental health.

Participants will:
• Explore how culture impacts men’s mental health
• Learn about depression and anxiety
• Practice grounding techniques and deep breathing
• Talk about trauma and its effects

📍 Open to Spanish-speaking men (18+) – patients and non-patients welcome

🗓 Wednesdays | 3:00–4:00 PM
April 29 – June 24, 2026
📍 40 Mansfield Avenue, Willimantic

We accept most insurance plans and offer a Sliding Fee Scale for those who qualify.
