Unlimited Care Cottages Private & Semi-private rooms with personal care in Assisted Living Cottages in Conroe, Spring, The Woodlands, & Willis Texas

Unlimited Care Cottages are privately owned assisted living communities we lovingly refer to as personal care cottages. These senior living environments are a breath of fresh air compared to traditional assisted living facilities or nursing home environments. With locations in Kingwood, Oak Ridge North, Willis, Spring, and The Woodlands Texas, we provide living spaces that feel more like home for our residents. We can also accommodate residents who suffer from dementia in our memory care cottage.

Most memory care facilities are designed around safety first.

Locked units.
Long hallways.
Alarm systems everywhere.

They’re built to prevent problems.

Our cottages start somewhere else.

They start with life.

An evening by the fireplace.
A resident knitting in her favorite chair.
A caregiver bringing a warm cup of tea.

The safety is still there. It’s simply built into a real home.

Because people living with dementia often feel calmer in spaces that feel familiar and lived in. Environments that resemble the homes they’ve known for decades.

Here, care happens in living rooms, kitchens, and porches.

Not in corridors.

Because dignity, comfort, and safety should all exist together.

And they can.

One of the first questions families ask: "Does Medicare cover this?

The short answer is no. Medicare doesn't typically cover assisted living or memory care because these are considered residential services, not medical care.

However, what families appreciate most is that our pricing is all-inclusive. One monthly rate covers room, care, meals, medications, activities, and supplies. No surprise level-of-care charges when needs increase.

We're happy to walk through the financial details with you. These conversations feel overwhelming at first, but we break down exactly what you're paying for and what resources might be available.

Call us at (713) 419-2609 if you want to talk through your specific situation.

We don't pretend every day is perfect.

Some days your loved one remembers your name and asks about the grandkids. Other days they're confused about where they are or why you're visiting.

Some mornings they wake up cheerful. Other mornings they're anxious or sad or angry.

That's dementia. That's aging. That's real life.

What we can promise is that on the hard days, they're not alone. Our caregivers have the training and the time to provide comfort, redirection, and patience.

We don't rush through difficult moments or medicate away every challenge. We sit with people in their confusion. We reassure them when they're anxious. We validate their feelings instead of dismissing them.

Families tell us this is what gives them peace: knowing that on the days they can't be here, someone who genuinely cares is handling whatever comes with compassion and skill.

We're in it for the good days and the hard ones.

Some families tour six different places before making a decision. Others know within five minutes of walking in that they've found the right fit.

Both approaches are completely fine.

We encourage families to visit, ask questions, meet our caregivers, and see our cottages during real daily life. Come at breakfast time. Stop by in the afternoon when residents are sitting on the porch. See what an actual day looks like here.
Bring your parent if they're able to participate in the decision. Bring your siblings if you're making this choice together. Come alone if you need to process everything first before involving others.

There's no pressure. This is an enormous decision, and you should feel absolutely certain before moving forward.
Our cottages are located throughout Montgomery County. We're happy to schedule tours at your convenience, answer questions by phone, or send additional information.

We've been exactly where you are. We understand how hard this is. Take your time and trust your instincts.

Your parent just spent five days in the hospital. The doctor says they're ready for discharge, but you know they can't go home alone. Maybe they fell. Maybe the medication management got too complicated. Maybe the hospitalization revealed how much help they actually need.

The hospital social worker is talking about skilled nursing facilities and rehab centers, and you're trying to figure out next steps while your parent is exhausted and confused.

This is exactly when families find us.
We can often accept new residents quickly when there's availability. Our caregivers can provide the monitoring and support needed after hospitalization. We handle medications, meals, and mobility assistance while your loved one recovers in a calm, home-like setting.

Many of our residents came to us directly from a hospital stay. Their families needed a solution that felt safe but not institutional. Somewhere their parent could actually rest and regain strength.

If you're in this situation right now, call us today at (713) 419-2609. We understand the urgency, and we'll talk you through whether cottage care is the right next step.

When families tour our cottages, they always ask what residents can bring from home.

The answer is: whatever makes them comfortable. We've had residents bring their favorite recliner, their piano, quilts their grandmother made, entire photo albums, even a collection of vintage hats.

Large facilities have restrictions.
Standard furniture.
Limited space.
Rules about what's allowed.

We want people to feel like they're moving into a new home, not checking into an institution. Personal belongings trigger memories and provide comfort, especially for residents with dementia who need familiar touchstones.

Your dad's bookshelf can come. Your mom's jewelry box has a place here. The coffee table they've had for forty years fits perfectly in the cottage living room.

This is their home. We're just here to help them live in it safely.

Your mom moved in six months ago needing help with medications and meals. She was walking independently, dressing herself, managing most of her daily routine.

Last month, she started needing more support getting in and out of the shower. This week, she's using a walker after a balance scare.

In many assisted living facilities, increasing care needs means moving to a different unit or level. New room. New staff. New routine. Just when consistency matters most.

Here, your mom stays in her same cottage with the same caregivers who already know her. We simply adjust our support. More assistance with bathing. Extra attention during transfers. Closer monitoring throughout the day.

The room she's made her own stays her room. The caregiver she trusts stays her caregiver. The routine she's comfortable with stays intact.

As needs change, our care changes. But home stays home.

"What if he hates me for this decision?"
"Am I giving up on her?"

These are the questions families ask us quietly, usually after the tour, sometimes with tears. We never rush these conversations because they matter.

Here's what we tell them: You're asking these questions because you love your parent deeply. You're researching and planning because you care about getting this right. That's not giving up. That's being responsible for someone who once took care of you.

Most families tell us later that the hardest part was making the decision. Once their loved one settled into cottage life with consistent care and companionship, they wished they'd done it sooner.

If you're asking these questions right now, you're exactly where you need to be. Thinking it through. Exploring options. Doing the hard work of loving someone well.

Sunday mornings look a little different here.

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful church service right in the cottage this week. There's something special about gathering together in a space that feels like home.

Grateful for our community partners who help us create these moments 💙

Walk into most memory care facilities and you'll see locked units, alarm systems everywhere, institutional hallways designed to prevent wandering.

Walk into our cottages and you'll see a front porch, a kitchen, comfortable furniture. You might not even notice the safety features because they're woven into a real home environment.

People with dementia do better in spaces that feel familiar and calm. Institutional settings can increase agitation and confusion. We keep residents safe while letting them feel like they're living in a home, not a locked ward.

The goal is dignity and comfort alongside security. You can have both.

Yesterday morning, one of our residents spent twenty minutes telling our caregiver about the garden she kept for forty years. Every detail. The roses that never quite took. The tomatoes that came in so heavy one summer she gave away bushels to the neighbors.

She's told this story before. She'll probably tell it again tomorrow.

And our caregiver will listen tomorrow just like she listened yesterday. Because when you're caring for seven people instead of thirty, you have time for the stories. You have time to sit down. You have time to really be present.

That's what we mean when we say cottage care is different.
