What an incredible adventure it has been and we learned so much. As you can see in the picture, we learned plenty of Ayurvedic recipes and remedies. Traveling, exploring sacred spaces, experiencing different religions and spiritual traditions firsthand… it inspired me in ways I can’t even fully put into words yet.
And of course you know I didn’t come back empty-handed.
We have so many new items and services coming to Sanctum and Stone. Some pieces are already here, others are on the way, and a few new offerings are in the works that I cannot wait to share with you. The energy behind them feels powerful.
If you’ve been thinking about joining a sound bath, now is the time. The techniques I learned are absolutely weaving their way into what we’re creating here. You’re definitely going to feel the difference.
Also, stay tuned. I’ve written several blog articles from my journey. From exploring temples and sacred rivers to experiencing spiritual life in completely different cultural contexts, all while continuing my interreligious studies in seminary. I have so much to share. Those reflections are coming soon, and I can’t wait to open those conversations with you.

A New Name, A Renewed Vision

We are excited to share that Midwest Metaphysics is now Sanctum and Stone.

This name change marks more than a fresh look—it represents the next evolution of who we are and what we offer. As we’ve grown, it became clear that many people didn’t fully resonate with the term metaphysics, even though they were drawn to healing, growth, and inner exploration. Sanctum and Stone allows us to open our arms wider—to welcome more people into the experience of healing, development, and transformation.

The name speaks to what we hope to offer each of you. Sanctum is your sanctuary. It is a space of safety, rest, and deep spiritual connection. Stone is the grounded foundation beneath you. It is something solid and strong to stand on as you grow. Together, they reflect the balance of inner peace and steady progress that we strive to help you cultivate in your own life.

At Sanctum and Stone, you’ll still find our crystal and unique gift shop filled with meaningful tools and treasures. But more than that, you’ll find a place of learning and connection. We host classes and workshops ranging from yoga and soundbaths to self-development circles, book clubs, and intuitive growth groups.

You can also book one-on-one sessions with Alex, a renowned energy worker, intuitive, and author of several books on healing and spiritual growth. These sessions help support those navigating their journey with clarity, compassion, and alignment.

And this is just the beginning. You’ll see Sanctum and Stone at local events, wellness expos, and spiritual conferences across the nation, spreading our mission far beyond our doors.
