Alexa, add color matching to the list.
At Williston Family Dentistry, we utilize advanced techniques to ensure your veneers blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, resulting in a beautiful, natural-looking smile. Our team carefully analyzes the color, translucency, and texture of your existing teeth to find the perfect match. Custom staining and glazing may be applied to mimic the unique variations and shine of your natural enamel, so your veneers are virtually indistinguishable from your real teeth. This personalized approach means your new smile will look and feel just like you, only brighter!

Imaging is Important!
Before dental implant surgery, imaging tests help our team determine if a bone graft is needed. These tests provide detailed, high-resolution images that reveal the bone’s density, volume, and structure at the planned implant site.
If the images show that there isn’t enough healthy bone to securely anchor an implant, we can identify the specific areas where bone is lacking and plan a bone graft accordingly. Imaging also helps map out vital structures like nerves and sinuses, ensuring that any grafting or implant placement avoids these areas for your safety.

Orange you glad you know how citrus fruits affect your teeth?
Citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, and grapefruits are packed with vitamin C, but their high acidity can wear down tooth enamel over time. That enamel is your tooth’s protective layer, and once it starts to erode, you may notice increased sensitivity and a greater risk of cavities. Even though citrus is healthy, the acid can soften enamel temporarily, making your teeth more vulnerable, especially if you brush right after eating.
Rinsing with water and waiting about 30 minutes before brushing can help protect your smile while still enjoying your favorite fruits.

About the Dentist

Arie was born and raised in North Dakota. He attended Minot State University for Undergrad, then moved to Omaha where he graduated as one of the top in his class at Creighton University School of Dentistry. After practicing for a year in the small town of Glenwood, Iowa, it was time to move closer to home. With him, he brought his little family-Maryssa and their two sons, Izak and Raife.

Growing up around dentistry, Arie appreciates that it is both an art and science, while being able to provide care to people. Williston was a top choice to put down roots and practice due to the small town charm that he's use to. In his off time, he enjoys bowling, checking out new movies and following football in the fall. Arie takes pride in watching and being a part of his son’s sporting events. He looks forward to spending more time in Williston, while getting to know the community and locals!
