Grace’s style embraces her core values of warmth, compassion, honesty, and transparency. She approaches her work with clients from the perspective that mental and emotional challenges are often a sign that something is out of balance. Bringing awareness to these areas of imbalance may feel deeply painful at times, while at the same time it creates opportunities and motivation for change.

The more present we are with the full awareness of our experiences, both past and present, the more freedom we have to choose our response in the moment. Grace believes that this process of awareness and choice is best facilitated by a safe, supportive environment and a willingness to explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and engaging with the world. Grace works to create just such an environment with her clients where together, they can explore how to bring areas of concern back into alignment with personal values. Her approach is client-centered with an emphasis on holistic well-being and combines cognitive, somatic, and experiential therapies.

Grace is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She works with adults and adolescents ages 15 and older in individual, family, and couples therapy. Her areas of focus include PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment, navigating relationships, grief and bereavement, codependency, spirituality, and psychedelic integration

Brainspotting is a type of therapy that helps people process and heal from difficult experiences, stress, and trauma by using the connection between the mind and body. 🧠

In simple terms:
When something upsetting happens in life, your body and brain can “hold onto” parts of the experience—even if you’re not thinking about it. Sometimes, this can cause ongoing anxiety, tension, or emotional pain.

In a brainspotting session, the therapist helps you find a “brainspot,” which is a specific eye position that seems to connect to the place in your brain where that memory or feeling is stored. While you focus on that spot and notice what’s going on inside (thoughts, emotions, body sensations), your brain begins to naturally process and release what’s stuck.

I have completed over 40 hours of training in Brainspotting, including Phase 1 and Phase 2. I am currently in the process of obtaining Brainspotting certification.
