🌿 I WILL HOLD SPACE FOR YOU — NO PRESSURE — JUST PRESENCE 🌿
Hey everyone! 👋✨ I know this season can be both beautiful and busy 🎄🕯️ — and sometimes emotionally heavy too. If you’re here, reading this, thank you for being in my little corner of the internet. Truly — your support means more to me than you know. 💛
I currently have a few openings for sessions! 🗓️
I recently opened two weekly spots and still have some biweekly availability as well.
Lately I’ve been integrating even more Brainspotting into my sessions, and wow... the shifts clients are experiencing have been incredible. 🤯💚 Not everyone resonates with the same approach, and that’s okay — therapy is not one size fits all. I believe in collaboration, creativity, and meeting you where you are. 🙌
Talk Therapy + Brainspotting = A powerful combo 🔥🧠
Talk therapy engages the prefrontal cortex — (reasoning, thinking, and languages centers).
Brainspotting connects deeper into the subcortical brain — (particularly the limbic system, amygdala, and midbrain), where emotion + trauma live.
Both support healing — just through different doors. 🚪💫
And guess what? I work with both! So together we can explore what fits you best.
"Talk therapy is like pruning the branches of a tree. It helps you manage symptoms, gain awareness of your thoughts and behaviors, and develop coping skills for current challenges. It primarily engages the conscious, analytical part of your brain (the neocortex) to help you understand "why" you feel a certain way.
Brainspotting is like tending to the roots. It works on the deeper, subconscious areas of the brain (the limbic system and subcortex) where deep-seated trauma, emotional pain, and survival responses are stored beyond the reach of language. By focusing your gaze on a specific "brainspot," it allows your body to naturally release and process these deep, non-verbal experiences." ~Zencare
If something inside you is whispering "maybe it's time to talk to someone" — I would be honored to walk alongside you. 🤝💙
