💙 Hello Wills Point and surrounding communities! 💙
We are excited to announce the opening of The Given Hour In-Home Care, a non-medical in-home care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, intentional support to seniors and families in our area.
While working as a caregiver, I realized how misunderstood people’s emotions and feelings can be. I created this agency with the hope of giving people relief, love, and presence—because love is the key to a happy life. Love is shown through action: by caring, listening, and making someone’s life feel lighter and full of joy.
I truly believe that some people don’t need ten doctors by their side—sometimes, they simply need someone holding their hand and reminding them that everything will be okay.
The moment I knew I wanted to start this agency came from witnessing how deeply people need care, yet how difficult it can be to find the right support or afford it. I’ve seen situations where families needed help but felt lost or discouraged. I wanted to create something that offers hope, dignity, and real connection.
One experience that changed me forever was caring for a client who only scheduled me to read the Bible with her. At first, I thought she didn’t really need help—but I was wrong. By sitting with her and reading together, I realized I was supporting her in ways people often overlook. That experience taught me how time, intention, and presence can create powerful change—not only in someone else’s life, but in our own.
What makes The Given Hour In-Home Care different is that we go beyond tasks. We care with intention. We see our clients not just as clients, but as family. We support their emotional well-being, honor their feelings, and show up with genuine compassion.
My hope is that every person we serve feels loved, safe, and truly seen.
