People ask what I use on my facial skin. So here is a breakdown: I am 60 years young and I use pure goat milk soap to cleanse, then I use Austania day facial serum. I do not put anything else on my face. At night, I use the Austania night facial serum. The three in combination with each other give my skin all the nutrients it needs with a beautiful glow. If you do anything for yourself, please try these products, which are chemical and preservative free. Your skin will love you for it! Each vial will last approximately 4-6 weeks. Lets take a gander and let's look at the basic Cold pressed Goat milk soap versus Hot pressed Goat Milk soap.

Cold pressed: high glycerin content. The low temperature preserves natural gylcerin, a powerful humectant that draws moisture to the skin. Vitamins, minerals and other beneficial oils are better preserved without high heat making it especially good for sensitive skin.
Allows for a wider variety of designs, intricate patterns and designs and added colorants because of the consistency when poured. Slower turnaround usually 6-8 weeks for completion.

Hot pressed: Faster turnaround. Saponification is completed with the added heat allowing the soap to be used immediately after being cooled. Some say the fragrances last longer due to the fact that they are added after the high heat reaction is completed.

In a previous post, I shared my experience with using goat milk soap as a facial cleanser. Let's now explore the various benefits of goat milk soap. Goat milk soap is rich in fatty acids and triglycerides, which deeply moisturize the skin, leaving it soft and supple. The lactic acid in goat milk soap gently exfoliates dead skin cells, revealing brighter and smoother skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties can calm irritable and sensitive skin, and it contains vitamins A, C, E, and B complex, calcium, magnesium, and proteins that protect the skin. It can also help improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Moreover, it has a pleasant creamy texture and lathers well.
