Immerse yourself in the transformative vibrations of mantra meditation, where ancient Sanskrit mantras are sung in a joyful, call-and-response style that awakens inner peace and deep connection.
Kirtan lies at the heart of the Bhakti tradition—the path of devotion, love, and remembrance of the Divine. Through sacred sound, we step out of the busyness of daily life and enter a space of presence, gratitude, and spiritual nourishment.

No experience is needed. Just your voice, your breath, and your openness.
Bhakti (devotional yoga) welcomes every soul. Whether you’re exploring meditation for the first time or already feel at home in mantra chanting, this gathering invites you to experience authentic connection, inner grounding, and the joy of singing in community.

Tibetan Sound Healing Meditation with Lama Lobsang Palden

The healing sounds of Tibetan instruments such as drums, bells, gongs, singing bowls, cymbals, horns and conch shell permeate the space with resonant medicine, while TSA LUNG – breathing exercises open the channels and awaken the energy. Mantras and prayers expand consciousness, increase awareness and bring peace. A silent meditation induces deep relaxation at the conclusion of this transcendent ritual.

Lama Lobsang Palden is an incarnate lama born in eastern Tibet. He studied all aspects of Buddhist philosophy and practice at Tashi Kyil Monastery, a Gelugpa monastery in Amdo, Tibet. Lama trained in Yantra Yoga and Tibetan massage with Tibetan doctor Rinzen Geshe Nyima, and he inherited intuitive healing gifts from his grandfather, himself a healing lama. Lama Lobsang is a Ngakpa lama, having received the necessary initiations at Lhabrang Monastery. He is a healing practitioner who personally received His Holiness the Dalai Lama's blessing and encouragement to do healing work. He left Tibet at age 18 and lived at Tashi Kyil Monastery in Dehra Dun, India, for 10 years. He has received many teachings from H.H. the Dalai Lama and other Tibetan masters, such as His Holiness Sakya Trizin. He has traveled the world sharing his knowledge and experience, and currently resides in Lemont, IL
