Our Breast Cancer Awareness Month bulletin board really popped off!

When we created our "Who POPS In Your Mind?" board, we invited patients to write the names of loved ones they think of during their mammogram. Seeing all the names, love and memories shared has been so moving.

It's a beautiful reminder that every screening matters - for you, and for the people who "pop" into our heart. 🩷

Sometimes after a screening mammogram, the radiologist may recommend additional imaging. This callback doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong- it just means we need a closer look, which may include a diagnostic mammogram and breast ultrasound.

If you ever receive a callback - know it's a common part of breast care and one of the best ways we can provide answers and reassurance.
