Today Quality Independence Therapy is volunteering with AARP, the Wilmington Fire Department, and the Cape Fear Area Agency on Aging to bring you CarFit! We are assessing vehicles and their drivers to ensure maximal safety and comfort! This is going on in tandem with the New Hanover County Senior Resource Center Shred-a-thon and Medication turn in event! Come see us until 1:00!! We love to serve our community!

Independence Therapy will be assisting at a CarFit event at Elderhaus at 1380 N College Rd tomorrow, 8/21/25, from 9:00-1:00. We will be assessing car set up and positioning to maximize safety and comfort to keep older drivers safely on the road! There will also be a vendor event. Come see us!
