Holiday Closure Notice ‼️

Please be advised that Sankofa Training & Wellness Institute will be closed for the holiday season from December 15 through January 6, 2026.

Meet Sasha Stevenson, CNA! She was our 2nd graduate (Cohort 2) and the only student in her class! She was also the keynote speaker for Cohort 20. That’s the true meaning of Sankofa: coming through a program, gaining so much, and returning to lift up future CNAs. 🌟

Sasha even brought her children, who were beaming with pride! Through Sankofa, she found better daycare for her daughters and accessed resources to support her family helping her focus fully on completing an accelerated course.

This is the impact we create at Sankofa empowering learners while supporting their families every step of the way. 💚

Congratulations to Cohort 20! 🎓

This milestone marks Sankofa Training & Wellness Institute’s 20th completed class, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and commitment. They pushed through long clinical days, showed up coachable, and proved their determination. One of them even passed the first part of the state board exam before 8:30 AM yesterday!

Thank you to Team Sankofa for the continued dedication. Over the past three years, we’ve enrolled 107 students and successfully graduated 103, with most already certified and working. Our students travel from near and far because they see the opportunity and value in this program, and that is something we never take for granted. 💚

We also extend our deep appreciation to our community partners for supporting the work we do. Congratulations again to our newest graduates. The journey continues, and the mission remains strong.

Congratulations to the Graduates of Cohort 19! 🎓

We’re celebrating another incredible group of future healthcare professionals who successfully completed Sankofa’s 19-Day Accelerated CNA Program! This cohort had six graduates in total with four pictured here and we’re proud to share that most have already taken and passed the first half of their State Board Examination. Their coachability, hard work, and determination truly set them apart. 👏

At Sankofa Training & Wellness Institute, our mission remains clear: to equip every student with exceptional training, exam readiness, and the confidence to step boldly into their new role as compassionate caregivers.
