Hi there,
As the year winds down and the holiday season settles in, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting me with your body.
Thank you for showing up, asking good questions, and doing the work between sessions.
And thank you for supporting a small, locally owned practice here in Wilmington.
Matrix Bodywork exists because of clients like you—people who care about understanding their bodies, not just masking symptoms. I don’t take that trust lightly, and I’m truly grateful for each of you.
Staying Well Through the Holidays
The holidays are full of joy… and also long drives, weird sleep schedules, richer food, stress, and way more sitting than usual. A few simple reminders to help you stay grounded and pain-free:
• Move daily (even a little): A 10–15 minute walk, light mobility, or gentle stretching goes a long way.
• Hydration matters more than you think: Travel, alcohol, and salty foods all dehydrate tissue fast.
• Respect your sleep window: You don’t need perfection—just consistency when you can get it.
• Listen to early signals: Tightness, restriction, or recurring pain is your body asking for attention—don’t wait until January if something feels off.
• Breathe. Literally. Slow nasal breathing helps down-regulate your nervous system and improves recovery.
Your body doesn’t need punishment or “reset” thinking—it needs support, consistency, and intelligent care.
Looking Ahead
As we move into the new year, I’m excited to continue helping you move better, recover faster, and understand your body at a deeper level. If you’ve got goals for performance, pain relief, or simply feeling more at ease in your body, I’m here for that.
