We own and operate two conveniently-located funeral homes, and the first on-premise crematory in the greater Wilmington area. Our Concord Pike location in Wilmington offers a spacious chapel and foyer that reflects the dignity and serenity appropriate for any type of funeral service. Years ago, the Chandler children planted the many white pine trees that surround the facility. The Chandler Funeral Home in Hockessin is nestled against a hillside in the rolling country off Lancaster Pike Route 41. Inside, a recently renovated facility and floor-to-ceiling frosted glass window bathes the chapel in peaceful light. In keeping with the family tradition, the landscaping was designed by the Chandler family and reflects the natural beauty of the Hockessin community. Since 1892, Chandler Funeral Homes have been assisting families in the greater Wilmington area. Our long history of helping with important decisions allows us to pay careful, considerate attention to your needs. Today, we offer complete funeral services, cremation, preplanning, and aftercare. * Review: Most want their life to be remembered in a unique way. We’ll explain the options available for the service and help to make sound financial decisions at this time.
* Relax: Once the arrangements are set, receive a written statement to share with loved ones. For convenience and peace of mind, a copy will also be kept at the funeral home.
