Over the last week, we have been celebrating and thanking our Ferno team members based at our global headquarters in Wilmington, Ohio, with festive events in gratitude for their incredible work over the last 12 months.
From our film night takeover of the local theater to providing Christmas lunch for our entire HQ team, we’re so thankful for the support of our extended Ferno family around the world.

Ferno has been continuing its global success by attending the Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this week.
Proudly presenting both our Power F2 Fastening System and Power X2 Ambulance Stretcher, Ferno received incredible interest from this groundbreaking new combined solution designed to help organizations take control of their frontline fleet, further improve patient outcomes and better protect the paramedic heroes delivering the service.
Ferno also displayed its innovative and flexible iNTRAXX Vehicle Mounting System, which helps fleets customize their vehicle and instrument configuration with incredible speed, whilst offering unrivalled benefits for vehicle conversion in the event of mass casualty.
Ferno is proud to be serving the EMS community as we exhibit at EMS World 2025 in Indianapolis - and we're excited to be showing our fantastic new Power X2 Ambulance Stretcher and Power F2 Fastening System.
Along with our iNTRAXX and Transcend Chair, we're running live demonstrations and taking orders now for products designed to make a difference to the heroes and patients we serve.

Pafford further improves patient outcomes by awarding major powered stretcher and fastener contract to Ferno
Pafford Medical Services has awarded a contract for their entire fleet of more than 400 powered stretchers and fastening systems to Ferno, including their innovative Power X2 and Power F2 solutions.
Commencing immediately, Pafford returns to Ferno after 8 years and the two parties have agreed a long-term partnership.
Thanks to innovations which avoid the need for operators to push or lift patients at any time, Pafford expects to reduce the number of back and shoulder injuries for operators, while further improving patient care due to fast and simple operations.
Clay Hobbs, Pafford Chief Operating Officer, said of the award, ‘We ran a highly comprehensive RFP process, conducting thorough testing, visiting Ferno facilities to interrogate manufacturing and assembly, and reviewing in detail the future service network.’
‘Following our evaluation Ferno products achieved the highest score in every single category. Couple this with the real spirit of partnership and people that was so key for us, we have 100% confidence that Ferno is the ideal choice for Pafford for the years ahead. This initiative is going to improve measurable safety outcomes for crews and patients alike, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Pafford praised the speed with which the new products can transfer patients safely into a vehicle, while also protecting operators and patients when unloading.
Summarizing the new contract award and partner selection, Hobbs said ‘It’s a new day at Ferno - the business they are today, and their new products are a re-establishment of their mission and vision to support the entire EMS industry. Ferno has listened and responded to the pre-hospital needs of our industry.’
With more than 350,000 responses every year, Pafford is celebrating their 58th year of business, while Ferno themselves celebrate their 70th anniversary in 2025.
