Pittser Family Eye Care is thrilled to announce the addition of two new optometrists. Dr. Blake Pittser and Dr. Tyler Carter plan to begin seeing patients at our 87 Fairway Drive, Wilmington, OH office in June of this year.

Blake Pittser, OD is a native of Washington Court House, OH. He is a 2017 graduate of Miami Trace High School, and a 2021 graduate of Wright State University where he was a 4-year starter for the Raiders men’s soccer team. Blake graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in May of 2025 after completing clinic rotations that included seeing patients at the Salisbury, NC VA Medical Center under the supervision of renowned optometrist, Dr. Aaron K. Tarbett. His optometric interests include advanced ocular disease, vision therapy, ocular neurology and binocular vision. Blake and his fiancé Jordyne Helinski plan to marry in October 2025.

Tyler Carter, OD grew up on the family farm in Oregonia, OH. He is a 2017 graduate of Clinton-Massie High School, and a 2025 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Tyler’s clinical experience includes providing eye health and vision care at OSU, the Chillicothe VA Medical Center and Miamisburg Vision Care. Tyler, his wife Hannah and dog Tucker reside on the family farm where they enjoy farming and attending cattle shows across the nation. Tyler is an avid fan of OSU Football.

In consideration of the health and safety of our patients and staff, our office will not be seeing patients until further notice and will be operating for emergency purposes only.

If you need to pick up glasses, please call us to schedule a time for dispensing. If you have a balance due, we are accepting payment by check or credit card during this time.

If you have a current prescription and need to order contacts, please email our office at pfamilyeyecare@cinci.rr.com and we will respond requesting credit card information to process your order. All contact lens orders are being shipped directly to patients.

Thank you for your understanding as we try to navigate the situation and do what is best for everyone.

We will be closed until further notice. Our intention is to reopen the week of March 30th unless it is still deemed unsafe to do so. We will keep you informed via email so you can make plans accordingly.
