Today is a bittersweet one 💙
Our clinic will be closed from 12:00–2:00 PM while we gather as a team to celebrate and thank a doctor who has made a lasting impact on our patients, clients, and staff on her final day with us.
We are incredibly grateful for everything Dr. Edmiston has shared with our clinic and wish her all the best in her next chapter.
We appreciate your understanding and will reopen at 2:00 PM.

We will be open with normal business hours on Friday, January 2nd.

Attention clients! The Grinch has been spotted lurking in our office! Please join us for Pictures with the Grinch today from 10am-2pm. All patients are welcome to attend. When you arrive, please sign in at the front desk. We ask that all dogs remain on leash, as well as keeping all cats and exotics in carriers until picture time. Please make sure to bring your phone or camera to snap your photos. Holiday attire is not required but always encouraged! We can’t wait to celebrate the holiday season with you!

For those who want something a little more special, be sure to join us on December 22nd from 10am-2pm for pet pictures with the Grinch! We welcome all species of animals. Dogs must remain on a leash while cats/exotics in carriers until it's picture time. Each guest will have 10 minutes to have a private meet and greet with the Grinch himself and to take some pictures! we look forward to seeing your pets in their festive attire 😁

We want to share an important update with our Highsmith Animal Hospital family:

Dr. Edmiston will be relocating to Florida, with her last day at our clinic being January 2nd, 2026. While we are sad to see her go, we are deeply grateful for the care and compassion she has shown our patients and their families.
