Save your egg shells. Let them air dry after you cracked them for breakfast. I use a good-sized jar, (such as Claussen‘s kosher pickles jar) will crush the shells nicely. Just put them into a plastic bowl, and leave your jar beside them. The jar bottom crushes the shells nicely. Hold the jar by it’s screwed in lid and gently push it down on the shells.

These ground up shells are perfect to put around your dormant plants now. Calcium is very important to most plants. Just sprinkle a handful around the plant and scratch it into the earth. Come spring your plants will really be healthy.

So many of you asked for the Easy Chai Tea recipe, it is a bit easier to tell a lot at once than each individually. Here it is: Please let me know what you think of it.

Spice up this great Chai Tea however you like. It's as simple as stirring two tablespoons of Chai tea into a cup of hot water and serve!

CHAI TEA


Ingredients

1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups unsweetened instant tea plain (not lemon or sugar added)
Decaf tea is OK. (That's what I use.) Nestea and Lipton sell it by the jar.
2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves

Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. With a slotted spoon,
carefully stir all ingredients slowly together. I have used my Cuisinart
to blend which also works, but mine is small, so I have to do it in batches.
When completely blended, put into jars for storage.
