Today we’re celebrating Tamberly Hamlett, our social worker at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center!

A Roxboro native, Tamberly has devoted her career to healthcare since age 19. She began her journey at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center where she worked as a CNA for a decade. She returned in 2018 to fulfill her longtime goal of becoming a social worker.

Tamberly studied Human Services Technology at Liberty University with a focus on Marriage and Family Counseling, bringing both compassion and strong professional insight to the residents she serves. She finds genuine joy in supporting individuals through transitions and advocating for their needs, while helping enrich their daily lives.

Outside of work, Tamberly is a proud mom to a bright and intelligent daughter. She enjoys relaxing with her favorite TV shows and exploring the world of AI. She also loves assisting with resident activities, adding fun, connection and engagement throughout the center. 💙

GW Kearney is our social worker at Yadkin Nursing Center!

GW is known for his patience, attentiveness and genuine commitment to supporting residents and their families. He takes extra time to listen to their concerns, answer questions and come up with solutions that ensure residents receive the care they need.

He stays on top of every detail and makes sure that at the end of the day everyone feels supported and satisfied. GW also goes above and beyond by organizing monthly lunch or dinner visits for residents who are related—helping husbands and wives, siblings and other family members stay connected and enjoy quality time together. 💙

Angela Norris is celebrating 40 years with Liberty Health!

“Over the years, I have worked many different roles, which has really helped me through my career with Liberty. I became a Business Office Manager while at Shoreland Health Care and Retirement Center and then moved over to the billing side. After doing billing for several years, I became a Business Office Consultant, which I have been doing for more than 20 years. I was the only Business Office Consultant for several years until we began to grow. Now we have four! My journey with Liberty has been very rewarding in many ways. I appreciate Liberty giving me this opportunity.

My favorite thing about working with Liberty is the strong sense of family within our team. Over the years, I have grown both personally and professionally. Also, working with and training Business Office Managers has been a very rewarding experience, and I have made some really great friends.”
