What a wonderful afternoon at our festive Holiday Open House today! 🎄✨ It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and share some festive cheer with our caregivers, clients, and our amazing team.❤️

The food was delicious, but the true highlight was the incredible team camaraderie and the sense of community we all shared. Everyone had a great time, and we're so grateful to everyone who made this event a success.

We are happy to announce our Employee Spotlight, Madison Phair.
Madison started in child care working with her grandmother. Her mom and godmother were
nurses. Now she helps take care of her grandmother. She enjoys talking with the clients,
hearing their stories, and admiring the beautiful homes in Wilmington.

Madison is multilingual,speaking Arabic, French, Spanish, and Italian, and is currently learning German. She dreams of visiting Milan, Italy, to experience the culture and fashion. She also has an interest in French fashion. Her happiest moments are having a snack at Coastal Bagels or spending some time at the Farmers Market after an overnight shift.Then she wants her quiet time right before she goes to sleep!

Her advice for new home care professionals is to "Put yourself in their shoes". Acknowledging the work can be challenging but ultimately rewarding, and to offer grace to the clients.”We really are doing a good thing. We are helping people.”

Founded in 1973, Eldercare has been caring for families in the Wilmington, NC area for over 45 years. We are family-owned and operated, and we know what it takes to provide quality care that maintains independence, enhances quality of life, and restores balance for your entire family. Last year we cared for over 6,000 patients throughout coastal North Carolina.
