Every great impact begins with a small step.

At Sunu Reew, what started with sponsoring just 5 students, what seemed like a small act of support has now grown into sponsoring 22 students in 2026 from the School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences at the University of The Gambia to attend the 4th Banjul International Surgical Scientific Conference.

Behind these numbers are dreams being nurtured, futures being shaped and the next generation of healthcare professionals being empowered.

And this is only the beginning of the story..

As we plan for the 4th BISC...Throwback to last year
We were honored to support seven outstanding student executives of the University of the Gambia Medical Students Association, to participate in the 2nd Banjul International Surgical Conference.

By creating opportunities for students to engage with leading experts, gain exposure to advanced medical discussions, and expand their professional networks, we help equip them with the knowledge and inspiration needed to shape the future of healthcare.

At Sunu Reew, we remain dedicated to empowering students, strengthening medical education, and contributing to a stronger healthcare system in The Gambia and beyond.

Partnerships like these remind us that impact grows when we work together.

Representatives from Gambia Autism Support and Advocacy Network (GASAN) presented a Certificate of Appreciation to our CMD Africa, Dr. Charles Roberts, in recognition of the support provided through the Sunu Reew Medical Mission.

As part of this collaboration, two laptops were donated and training sessions were conducted to strengthen local capacity around autism awareness and care in The Gambia. Initiatives like this help ensure that professionals and communities are better equipped to support individuals and families navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We are grateful for partners who share the vision of expanding access to knowledge, tools, and compassionate care across Africa.
